Y'all didn't pay attention to my Kinja'd post on Saturday, so for the sake of attention and acknowledgement I am posting again. Because I must feel validated.
I put this into my wife's Subaru. Took out a gross one with 200k on it that spit coolant out the front all over the place.

We only care about air cooled, man.
JK, good job. I don't think I've heard of a Rad giving up the ghost in quite awhile. What caused it? cold weather?

No, it's been leaky for a while. Cold weather probably accelerated the growth of the leak, as well as a good hard jostle over some train tracks. I was planning to replace it that day anyway, as I got paid on Friday. So it wasn't the worst timing in the world. I think it's been going for about a month and a half with a leak between the top tank and the aluminum. Next step, all the belts! Not doing that myself.
